London Metal Exchange: Approval Of Singapore As A Good Delivery Point For Tin

At a meeting of the board directors held on 2 October 2000, consideration was given to a recommendation by the tin committee that Singapore be approved as a good delivery point for tin.

Having considered the submissions made to the exchange and taken into account the particular requirements of the tin market as well as the policy issues set out in the document, LME Warehousing Policy – The Way Forward, the directors resolved that with effect from 1 January 2002, Singapore be approved as a good delivery point for tin.
