LME Week 2005 - Metals Seminar 2005

Date 13/10/2005

The London Metal Exchange Metals Seminar is well established fixture in the metals industry calendar. The event attracts around 300 delegates from all aspects of the metals industry and from all over the world. The seminar is traditionally a popular event - early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

This year's event includes a keynote presentation from Professor Douglas McWilliams, founder of the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), on the current global economic outlook. Sandra Carey, Director of the UK Non-Ferrous Alliance, will explore the impact the EU's REACH legislation will have on the metals industry. The seminar will also include an analysis of the challenges facing the mining industry from Kalidas V. Madhavpeddi of Phelps Dodge Corporation and, as ever, expert analysts will offer their views on the pricing outlook for all LME metals.
