LME Turnover - October 2004

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 6,721,687 lots in October 2004. This figure was made up of 6,291,061 lots of futures, 421,435 lots of options and 9,191 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date 60,446,620 lots were traded of which 56,475,113 lots were futures, 3,880,513 lots were options and 90,994 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2003 60,433,785 lots were traded of which 57,437,586 lots were futures, 2,825,754 lots were options and 170,445 lots were TAPOs.
