Listing Of Foreign-Currency Issues On SWX

The Admission Board of SWX has decided that issues denominated in US dollars and euros may in future also be listed on SWX. This decision in principle addresses a need voiced by SWX participants. The new segment is to be launched on 21 February 2000. There will be two variants available for listing issues denominated in US dollars or euros: Either the "stand-alone" variant (i.e. with terms and conditions under Swiss law) or the "EMTN" variant (i.e. under foreign law but stipulating alternative jurisdiction in Switzerland).
