LIFFE to Accelerate LIFFE CONNECT™ Roll-Out Programme

The London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) has announced that it will launch its international bond futures contracts onto its new electronic trading platform, LIFFE CONNECT™, on May 10, 1999, a month earlier than originally planned. In addition, the Exchange announced that its UK stock index products will transfer from the trading floor to the LIFFE CONNECT™ system on May 10 and that it will add its pan-European stock index products on May 25.
