LIFFE Helps Private Investors Access Futures Market - Training Seminar - Trading Derivatives From Home

Date 26/03/2002

The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange, LIFFE, is staging four special workshops for private investors keen to trade futures online. Tutors from Man Direct will show how home computers can be used to place and manage orders online and spot trading opportunities.

Karen Dixon, Director of Marketing at LIFFE, said, "Futures are becoming increasingly popular with private investors as they offer efficient use of capital and the chance to easily take both bullish and bearish positions. But our research shows most investors don't realise they can trade online. This training initiative gives private investors greater access to instruments that until recently were the preserve of institutional traders. Professional training from Man Direct will open up a host of new trading opportunities."
