Legrand Deleted From Euronext 100 Index - Coflexip From Next 150 To Euronext 100

Following the official result of the takeover bid by Schneider Electric for the French company Legrand, Legrand will be deleted from the Euronext 100 index with effect from 13 August 2001, in accordance with rule 6.3.4 of the index ground rules. The new company will have a combined market capitalisation of 15.693 million Euro.

The highest ranking non-constituent by market capitalisation, replaces Legrand in the Euronext 100 Index. Following ranking analysis, the French company Coflexip will enter the Euronext 100 Index effective 13 August 2001. In connection with this Coflexip will be deleted from the Next 150 index effective 13 August 2001.

As a result of the replacement of Legrand in the Euronext 100 index by Coflexip the highest ranking non-constituent by market capitalisation replaces Coflexip in the Next 150 Index. Following ranking analysis, the French company Locindus will enter the Next 150 Index effective Monday 13 August 2001.
