Launch of the WTB Wheat Contract

On Friday, February 19, 1999, the Hannover Commodity Exchange (WTB) will launch its futures contract on milling wheat. The protein content of the future has been fixed at 11.5% and therefore belongs to the higher quality range. The contract therefore differs from the Matif wheat contract which specifies no protein percentage level. The contract will be traded between 10:05 and 15:35 and customers can participate via any of the connected WTB members.
