Launch Of JPX Start-Up Acceleration 100 Index

JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. announced today the launch of the "JPX Start-Up Acceleration 100 Index."

This index is a stock price index composed of 100 leading high-growth startups in Japan.
It selects constituents from companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market and those that have undergone a market transfer from the Growth Market within a certain period, using two metrics that measure startup growth: (1) sales growth rate and (2) market capitalization growth rate.
Through the use of this index, which is comprised of startups demonstrating high growth potential, including through investment in linked products such as ETFs, we aim to foster a virtuous cycle: promoting management practices more focused on growth within startups and expanding investment in startups that achieve growth.
