KVH Co., Ltd. announced today the launch of KVH CloudGalaxy, a new e-business portal that allows customers to purchase, configure, and manage KVH IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) cloud environments in real time. KVH CloudGalaxy gives KVH customers the ability to directly configure and manage complex cloud environments and thereby significantly improve the flexibility, efficiency and total cost of ownership of their IT resources.

KVH CloudGalaxy includes infrastructure service “building blocks” of dedicated and virtual servers, storage, network, firewall, and load balancers that enable enterprise customers to provision, in real time, sophisticated, multi-layer configurations tuned to their specific IT requirements.  CloudGalaxy is delivered through KVH’s own networks and data center facilities. Customers can build and configure their environments through CloudGalaxy by using pre-defined templates or by selecting individual components flexibly customized to their systems, regardless of complexity or size.

KVH CloudGalaxy’s intuitive interface helps reduce the time associated with configuring and managing cloud infrastructure, improving overall operational efficiency.  Customers purchasing services online have access to KVH’s bilingual Japanese and English service desk, and if they require consultation services, specially trained engineers are available to provide personalized guidance and support.
