KVH Co., Ltd., Asia’s leading Information Delivery Platform headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, today announced that it has added a 10Gbps burstable Ethernet service to etherXEN, KVH’s next-generation Ethernet services portfolio. With this new service line extension, enterprises will be able to transfer up to 10Gbps of data through KVH’s shared network backbone while maintaining a guaranteed baseline bandwidth of 1Gbps, 3Gbps or 5Gbps.
This new burstable 10Gbps bandwidth enhancement is being made available on etherXEN Private Line as well as etherXEN for AWS, one of KVH’s cloud-connectivity solutions. With its next-generation network nodes deployed extensively throughout Tokyo and Osaka, KVH is able to deliver etherXEN services with significantly short lead times, even for its 10Gbps service, and offer these services with flat-rate pricing, regardless of connection distance within these metropolitan markets.
