Volume of trading in October was 4,393,809,500 shares, an increase of 36.6% over the previous month's volume. The value traded in October was KWD 1,942,586,095 an increase of 45.5% over the previous month's value. There were 135,391 transactions in October, an increase of 16% over the previous month's number of transactions.
169 companies were traded in October. Of the traded companies, 121 increased in price and 46 decreased in price.
The market capitalisation of the exchange at end October was KWD 33,110,715,000.
