Kuwait Stock Exchange Trading Report For March 2000

The Kuwait Stock Exchange Index reached 1378.2 at the end of March. It registered an increase of 9.7 points from the closing value at the end of February 2000.

Trading volume in March was 480,010,000 shares, an increase of 13.60% over the February volume. Trading value in March was KWD69,294,310, an increase of 20.71% over the February value. There were 10,060 transactions in March, an increase of 13.76% over the February level.

There were 85 listed companies at end March and the market capitalisation at end March was KWD5,726,008,000.
