Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Not Aware Of Proposal To Integrate Malaysian, Thai And Singaporean Bourses

In relation to a news wire report entitled "Integration of Thai-Malaysian-Singapore Stock Markets to Benefit Investors" dated 10 May 2000, the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) wishes to clarify that it is currently not involved in any discussions with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Singapore Exchange Ltd in relation to the proposed integration of the three (3)Exchanges.
