  • On-going improvements in market infrastructure and delivery systems to ensure the securities industry and the stockmarket remain competitive, efficient and secure.
  • Completion of the consolidation of exchanges to establish an integrated Malaysian exchange to achieve greater economies of scale and scope, pooling of resources, greater distribution reach and a more diversified product and revenue base.
  • Completion of the demutualisation and conversion of the KLSE into a public company to broaden its interests and capability to better represent the needs and requirements of all stakeholders, the industry, the capital market and the nation, and to respond faster and adapt more quickly to changes in the market place.
Mohd Azlan said going forward, everyone at KLSE Bhd has to account for performance.

"There is no one performance more important than another. Scoring a winning goal is never the effort of just one team member. The making of a winning team takes all of learning, commitment, best practice, talent, innovation, confidence and teamwork.
