Established in 1956, Korea Exchange(KRX) is the sole operator of the securities and derivatives market in Korea and plays a pivotal role in the Korea capital markets.
The forum, hosted by KRX and supported by the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), KOTRA, Korea Foreign Company Association (FORCA) and other organizations, will facilitate an ideal opportunity for CEOs and executives of foreign companies and relevant institutions in understanding the recent developments of the Korean capital markets. It will also highlight how global companies and market participants can benefit from the various services provided by the Korea Exchange while taking advantage of the policies, setup for foreign companies in Korea. There will also be a session on the outlook of the global economy and macro factors such as interest rates, FX movement and the effect it will have on foreign firms doing business in Korea.
The forum consists of three sessions including an introduction of the Korean capital market system, the implication of recent changes of Korea economy and doing business in Korea, and ombudsman system for foreign companies.
