KRX Enters Into A Comprehensive MOU With Bank Of China For Cooperation

The Korea Exchange (KRX) entered into a comprehensive MOU with the Bank of China on 4th of July, 2014.

On behalf of both organizations, Mr. Kyungsoo Choi, Chairman & CEO of the KRX, and Mr. Tian Guoli, Chairman of the Bank of China signed the MOU.

With regard to the expansion of off-shore Yuan currency markets, the MOU contains items such as cooperation on listing of Yuan-denominated currency products on the KRX market, collaborative research and development of Yuan-denominated products, and support by the KRX for human resources of the Bank of China to have better understanding of the Korean capital market.

In addition, the KRX and the Bank of China have agreed to cooperate in the KRX marketing activities such as a listing conference where the KRX invites customer companies of the Bank of China, which have interest in listing their shares on the KRX market.
