Kosdaq Stock Market Launches English Electronic Disclosure System

The Kosdaq Stock Market, Inc. has developed and launched the English Electronic Disclosure System on April 3, 2002 in order to meet the increasing demand of foreign investors in the Kosdaq Stock Market. English disclosure will help non-Korean speaking investors access disclosure details that are originally announced in Korean.

The listed companies on Kosdaq can make disclosure in English within one trading day after making disclosure in Korean in accordance with the article 32 of the Regulation on the Kosdaq Market Disclosure. English disclosures are available in 'Disclosure' at http://english.kosdaq.or.kr. The scope of English disclosure includes all timely disclosures released in Korean by listed companies.

Though English disclosure plays an important role in providing disclosure information to foreign investors, it is considered an additional service to the Korean disclosure and no obligation on English disclosure is charged on the listed companies. Thus it is the responsibility of the listed companies for any possible errors and mistakes that may occur in English Disclosure. Meanwhile, Kosdaq shall continuously provide English translation service for notifications on market measure.
