Kosdaq Appoints New Managing Director

At the Annual General Meeting on June 22, the shareholders of Kosdaq Stock Market, Inc. approved the appointment of a new managing director, Hwan Kyun Park(53), effective from 22 June. He will replace Dr. Siwang Ryu, whose 3-year-term expires this year.

Prior to his current appointment as managing director, Mr. Park served in the planning & administration office of the Financial Supervisory Commission, Korea's Financial watchdog. He also served for the Ministry of Finance in the Treasury Bureau, International Finance Bureau, and Securities Bureau, as well as foreign service at the UNCTAD in Geneva and as the Financial Attache of the Republic of Korea at Belgium.
