The 17 Korean flagship companies plan to participate in the Global Investors Conference. They include Samsung Electronics, SK telecom, POSCO, KT, Kookmin Bank, Korea Electric Power Corporation, Hyundai Motors, LG Electronics, Samsung SDI, Woori Finance Holdings, KT&G, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Hana Bank, Cheil Communications, NCsoft Corporation, and LG Chem.
The conference will begin with a keynote speech on the current status and prospects of the Korean economy and securities market, followed by presentations by participating companies and one-on-one meetings. Keynote speaker for Hong Kong conference is Dr. Sang-Yong Park, President of the Korea Securities Research Institute and keynote speaker for London and New York conferences is Dr. Yoon-Je Cho, Economic Advisor to the President of Republic of Korea.
The Hong Kong conference, sponsored by CLSA, will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for two days from September 25the and 26th. The London conference, sponsored by Morgan Stanley will be held at the Grand Eastern Hotel on September. 29th. The New York conference, sponsored by JP Morgan, will be held at the New York Palace Hotel on October 1st.
