The event was attended by close to 40 Chinese companies, including some of the well-known names like Qingdao Beer and Qingdao Haier, and firms from Shandong-based company clusters. With a massive participation by local officials in charge of overseas market listing-related activities and legal professionals from the region, the event had a total turnout of 150.
For this information meeting, the KRX took on board Daewoo Securities, law firm Lee & Ko and accounting firm Deloitte Anjin LLC, who offer stock subscription service, to cover the full spectrum of practical information related to getting listed on the Korean market.
Meanwhile, prior to the event, the KRX and the City of Qingdao signed an MOU on cooperation in encouraging Chinese companies to list their shares on the Korean securities market, laying an important cornerstone toward stronger Korea-China exchanges in this area.
