Knight Equity Markets International Ltd will be trading from London. It is a subsidiary of Knight Capital Group Inc, based in the U.S. and listed on Nasdaq. Knight Equity Markets International provides comprehensive trade execution services in cash equities to institutions and broker-dealers in the U.S., European and international equity markets.
The Nordic Exchange Membership offering is a part of OMX’s aim to create an integrated and efficient Nordic marketplace. It gives members an opportunity to operate more seamlessly across the Nordic borders.
Knight Equity Markets International Ltd will start trading on the following dates: Helsinki Stock Exchange on March 22, Stockholm Stock Exchange on March 29 and Copenhagen Stock Exchange on April 12.
With Knight, the Nordic Exchange has altogether 149 trading members (excluding 101 members that are members of more than one exchange) of which Stockholm Stock Exchange has 86 members, Helsinki Stock Exchange 51 members, Copenhagen Stock Exchange 51 members, Tallinn Stock Exchange 19 members, Riga Stock Exchange 18 members and Vilnius Stock Exchange 25 members.
