KFX-Index Changes Name

Effective October 3, 2005 OMX will harmonize the index name structure for All-share, Benchmark, Tradable and Sector indices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. The change is part of OMX’s strive to create an integrated and efficient Nordic Baltic marketplace. The structure is constructed around the OMX name, the specific stock exchange and the index of choice.

The new name for the KFX-index will be OMXC20, where the “C” designates Copenhagen and “20” the number of companies included in the index.

New ticker symbols for KFX will be implemented as of the start of trading Monday the 3rd of October 2005. The new underlying code for OMXC20 will be 5020. In connection with the change of ticker symbol the ISIN-codes of the derivatives will change, these are attached below.

The change of ticker symbol will technically be implemented as a recalculation but the series will not receive an X-suffix. Please note that all long orders in the trading system related to ticker symbols stated above, will automatically be cancelled in connection with the ticker change.
