KfW Signs Up To Trade European Climate Exchange Products

KfW Bankengruppe becomes the 85th Member of ICE Futures Europe to be given access to trade ECX CFI contracts.

KfW Banking Group, one of the ten largest banks in Germany, has become the latest Member of ICE Futures Europe to be given access to trade in ECX CFI contracts.

KfW supports investments in small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany and abroad, and is owned by the German federal Government (80%) and the German federal states (20%).

“We are very pleased that major market players such as KfW have decided to join the increasingly diverse users of ECX carbon products,” said Patrick Birley, CEO of the European Climate Exchange.
