- We are delighted to bring in Kerstin Hessius as the new head of Stockholmsbörsen. She has a wide-ranging background and will be able to introduce both increased customer orientation as well as the competence reinforcement that Stockholmsbörsen requires, explains Niklas Midby, head of Division Transaction, and Vice President, OM.
Kerstin Hessius is coming to Stockholmsbörsen from Sveriges Riksbank (the Central Bank of Swe-den) where she held the position of Deputy Governor. Previous positions have included President of Östgöta Enskilda Kapitalförvaltning, Head of Nordic Fixed Income Sales & Trading at Alfred Berg, President of Alfred Berg Transferator as well as a journalist on Finanstidningen.
- I consider it a very exciting challenge to lead Stockholmsbörsen in a period of such dynamism in the financial industry. I believe that my long and wide-ranging experience within the financial mar-kets will be put to good use, said Kerstin Hessius in a comment.
Simon Nathanson, acting Head of Stockholmsbörsen, will remain in this position until August 6 after which he will become Vice President of Stockholmsbörsen.
