The number of securities accounts operated by KDPW Participants went down by 15,2 thousands in August 2011. Banks and brokerage houses operated 1,515,708 accounts at the end of last month.
The number of securities accounts operated by KDPW Participants has increased by more than 38 thousands in year 2011.

The highest month-on-month increase in the number of securities accounts in August 2011 was reported by DM Pekao SA (2,691 new accounts), followed by DI BRE Bank (976 new accounts) and BM Alior Bank (836new accounts).
The highest number of securities accounts operated at the end of August was reported by DI BRE Bank (294,715 accounts) followed by CDM Pekao SA (216,349 accounts) and DM Pekao SA (189,115 accounts).
