KCBT Observes Two Moments Of Silence

The Kansas City Board of Trade will be observing two moments of silence tomorrow, September 11, in observance of the second anniversary of the events that occurred on September 11, 2001: one at 8:59 a.m. CT and one at 9:29 a.m. CT. The delays are in accordance with other U.S. financial and commodities exchanges.

The Value Line® stock index futures contract will observe a moment of silence at both 8:59 a.m. and 9:29 a.m. Trading in the Value Line is normally from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Wheat futures and wheat options trading will begin at 9:31 a.m. following the moment of silence. Trading in the wheat futures and options contracts normally begins at 9:30 a.m.

All contracts will close at their normal times.
