Kansas City Board of Trade trading volume for the month of February amounted to 300.103 contracts, an increase of 51.5 percent compared to January 2009. Wheat futures trading volume in February totaled 291,289 contracts, an increase of 51.6 percent from last month.
Wheat options volume also posted an increase over last month, with 8,814 contracts traded in February, an increase of 47.5 percent compared to January.
