The Kansas City Board of Trade?s Board of Directors today approved the expansion of overnight electronic trading hours for the KCBT?s flagship hard red winter wheat futures and options contracts effective with the July 1, 2009 trade date.
Hard red winter wheat futures and options will trade electronically from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. CT Sunday through Friday, adding an hour and 15 minutes to the end of the current 6:00 a.m. closing time.
Wheat futures will continue to trade electronically and by open outcry from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.
Wheat options also will continue to trade electronically from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. CT Monday through Friday and by open outcry from 9:30 a.m. to 1:25 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.
