Kansas City Board Of Trade Clearing Corp. Elects Officers, Directors For 2003

R. Morgan Shay, with Shay Grain Clearing Co., Inc., today was elected president of the Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kansas City Board of Trade.

James P. Sullivan, with Man Financial Inc., was elected first vice president, James F. Kanan, an individual member, was elected second vice president and Rock D. Marquardt, with Cargill Investor Services, Inc., was elected secretary-treasurer.

Elected as directors were Kevin J. Loseke, an individual member, Scott Merrill, an individual member, and D.J. Warrington, with ADM Milling Company.

The Clearing Corp. reconciles all futures and options trades at the Kansas City Board of Trade and guarantees the financial integrity of all trades.

The Kansas City Board of Trade, chartered in 1876, is the world's largest futures market for hard red winter wheat.
