Kansas City Board Of Trade Clearing Corp. Elects Officers, Directors For 2000

Scott P. Smith, with Benson-Quinn Commodities, Inc., yesterday was elected president of the Kansas City Board of Trade Clearing Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kansas City Board of Trade. John P. Crowe, an individual member, was elected first vice president, and Daniel L. Gibson, with Wolcott & Lincoln Futures, LLC, was elected second vice president. W. Michael Farmer, an individual member, was elected secretary-treasurer. Elected as directors were Steven C. Hyde, with FIMAT USA, Inc.; Terrence R. Kingan, with Shay Grain Company; and Michael L. Martin, with Atwood Commodities, LLC. The Clearing Corp. reconciles all futures and options trades at the Kansas City Board of Trade and guarantees the financial integrity of all trades.
