Kansas City Board Of Trade Changes Wheat Daily Price Limits

Effective Monday, October 9, the Kansas City Board of Trade is changing the daily price limit for its hard red winter wheat futures contract. The new limit will be 30 cents per bushel above or below the previous day's settlement price, replacing the current limit of 25 cents.

The change in the daily price limit is in effort to have consistent price limits in all U.S. wheat markets to avoid confusion among market participants.
