Number of shares outstanding and the Investable Weight Factor for the new index constituents will be announced on June 10, 2005, together with share numbers and IWFs for all other stocks in the index, as a part of the quarterly rebalancing, which is going to be effective at the start of trading on June 20, 2005.
Half Yearly Review: In June & December, Standard & Poor’s and CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. reviews the constituents of the S&P/CITIC 50 and S&P/CITIC 300 Indices to determine if any changes need to be made to increase the sector representation of the index and/or remove any stocks that show insufficient free float market capitalization or trading levels to remain in the index.
Quarterly Rebalancing: In March, June, September and December, Standard & Poor’s updates the shares outstanding of the constituents of the index. This information is primarily sourced from company announcements and other local information sources and is made effective the Monday morning after the third Friday of each quarter.
