July 2005 Statistics For The Boston Options Exchange

BOX’s share of total OCC equity option volume was 6.6% for July 2005, a new record while the BOX share of total OCC option volume topped 6% for the first time. BOX market share for the 466 equity options listed on BOX also set a new record at 7.9%, a 38% increase over the previous month, and a 149% increase over July, 2004.
