Joost van der Does de Willebois To Be Appointed Member Of Euronext NV’s Managing Board

The Supervisory Board of Euronext NV intends to appoint Joost van der Does de Willebois as member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V. As member of the Managing Board he will have overall responsibility for Finance, Euronext Amsterdam and Euronext’s relationship with the Dutch financial community. In addition, he will have some specific marketing responsibilities for the Cash Market of Euronext (*). Having worked at various executive positions within ING and Shell, Joost van der Does de Willebois, 45, has extensive business experience and knowledge of international management as well as relevant experience of the financial industry.

Joost van der Does de Willebois worked for the Royal Dutch/Shell Group from 1984 to 1998 in various countries and in various management and executive positions. From 1998 he worked for the ING Group, lastly as executive director of ING Bank in the Netherlands with a bottom line responsibility for retail activities.

Joost van der Does de Willebois holds a Masters Degree in Law. He is married and has four sons.

The nomination of Joost van der Does de Willebois as member of the Managing Board of Euronext NV has been approved by Euronext’s regulators and the Dutch Ministry of Finance. Euronext’s shareholders meeting will be notified about this appointment in its firstcoming meeting. The Dutch Works Council will be given the opportunity to render its advice with respect to the appointment and Euronext’s European Works Council will be informed accordingly.

(*) He will also be appointed as a member of the Managing Board of Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Brussels, Euronext Lisbon and Euronext Paris following national procedures.
