- JJ Auto is a leading Chinese manufacturer and supplier of automotive parts
Shares of the Chinese company JJ Auto have been newly listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange today. The issuer is the 457th company listed on the Main Market and the 12th new listing on the market in 2014. At the same time, JJ Auto is the second Chinese company and the 59th foreign company listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange.
“We are glad that JJ Auto will be listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange. We have chosen Warsaw because it is the main exchange market in Eastern Europe which is growing dynamically, outpacing for instance Vienna Stock Exchange, among others by market capitalisation. There are many active investors present on Warsaw Stock Exchange who understand the specificity of companies from emerging markets as demonstrated by the results of the subscription: most of the individual investors subscribed for the shares in Poland. We will make best efforts to meet the expectations of our shareholders,” said Jianhui Ye, CEO of JJ Auto.
“The listing of another Chinese company on Warsaw Stock Exchange is the outcome of WSE’s strong position in the region. We are proving that we are an attractive market for a broad group of companies, including companies operating in Asian countries. We hope that more companies from this region of the world will be listed in Warsaw in the future. We offer them an IPO fast track compared to their home markets, as well as a large group of investors interested in new investment opportunities,” said PaweÅ‚ Graniewski, Vice-President of Warsaw Stock Exchange.
