Japan's Financial Services Agency: The Sixth Japan- Korea Shuttle Meeting On Financial Issues

  1. On June 3, 2016, the sixth Japan-Korea Shuttle Meeting on Financial Issues was held among the Financial Services Agency of Japan (JFSA), the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) of Korea.

  2. The meeting is held as part of close supervisory cooperation between the two countries. Discussions were held regarding topics such as the current economic environment for financial institutions and cooperation between those authorities in Japan and Korea.

Note :

The Korean financial supervisory structure consists of the FSC, which is responsible for developing/amending financial laws and regulations, and the FSS, which has the function of examining and supervising financial institutions under the FSC.
