Japan’s Financial Services Agency Publishes A Partial English Translation Of The Comprehensive Guidelines For Supervision Of Insurance Companies

The "Recommendations for Vitalizing Financial and Capital Markets" released by "The Panel for Vitalizing Financial and Capital Markets" on December 13, 2013, recommended that "financial-related laws, ordinances, and guidelines should be translated into English." FSA published today an English translation of “IV. Points of Attention regarding Examination of Insurance Products” contained in the Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Insurance Companies as well as other related parts.

FSA will continue to publish English translations as necessary.
