Financial Services Agency (FSA) and Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) jointly held Global Risk Forum in Tokyo from 14 to 15 November.
The forum convened global regulators, senior financial-market practitioners, and practice-driven academics and exchanged views on exploring how to identify, manage, and monitor institutional level and systemic financial risks in the post-crisis landscape.
On the first day of the forum, Mr. Hiroshi Nakaso, Chairman of Daiwa Institute of Research, delivered the keynote speech titled “Reinforcing the Last Lines of Defense - Evolution of central banks' Lender of Last Resort function."
