Based on the “Policy Plan for Promoting Japan as a Leading Asset Management Center” (December 13, 2023), the FSA published the “Policy Package of Special Zones for Financial and Asset Management Businesses.”

In this package, the following regions were assigned as the Special Zones. The FSA and each region will continue to work together to develop an attractive environment for the financial and asset management sector, while taking advantage of the unique characteristics of each region.
