James Taylor Appointed As Head Of FX Electronic Markets Sales At BNY Mellon

Date 07/09/2017

The appointment of James Taylor as Head of FX Electronic Markets Sales is an important hire as BNY Mellon’s Markets business builds out its FX platform to better meet the ongoing needs of its global clients.

James has almost 20 years’ experience in electronic trading, working on some of the leading single-dealer platforms, including Barclays’ BARX and Deutsche Bank’s Autobahn. He joins the bank from JP Morgan, where he spent eight years in a variety of interest rate and FX roles, serving most recently as Head of Fixed Income Market Structure.

James is based in London and reports to Oliver Martines.

His appointment is the latest step in Markets’ FX transformation following the hire of Jeff Leal as Global Head of Electronic Markets for FX earlier this year.
