Invan A. Tyryshkin was nominated for the election by the RTS Board of Directors on 18 June 2001.
Ivan A. Tyryshkin graduated from the Russian Economics Academy named after Plekhanov. Since October 1993 to September 1996 was holding a position of Deputy Head of Economic Analysis Department at Vneshtorgbank of Russia. Since September 1996 to August 1998 was occupying a post of Head of Professional Stock Market Participants activity Regulation Department at the Federal Commission for the Securities Market of Russia. In August 1998 was appointed Head of the Board of the National Association of Stock Market Participants. At present Ivan A. Tyryshkin also holds a member seat in the Expert Council of FCSM of Russia, Board of Directors of the Association on Investors' Rights Protection, Board of Directors of the Moscow Stock Exchange, Board of Directors of JSC "Voronezhenergo" and Board of Directors of JSC "Kurskenergo".
