Italian Company BENI STABILI Lists On NYSE Euronext In Paris

Date 09/06/2010

NYSE Euronext today announces the listing on NYSE Euronext in Paris of BENI STABILI, an Italian company specialized in real-estate management and investment.

Founded in 1904, its majority shareholder is Foncière des Régions. BENI STABILI mainly invests in office building for business tenants under medium-term and long-term leases. The company is also involved in the development of rental property. Its subsidiary Beni Stabili Gestioni SGR promotes and manages ten real-estate investment funds.

Already listed on the main market of the Milan stock exchange, BENI STABILI (mnemo: BNS) was admitted to NYSE Euronext in Paris by direct listing of its share capital represented by 1,915,744,011 shares. The company’s capitalization on the day of admission amounted to €1.1 billion.

Its listing in Paris is being done, among other things, to increase the shareholder base and the free float in connection with the distribution of a dividend by its main shareholder, Foncière des Régions, part of which is in BENI STABILI shares.

"We are delighted to welcome BENI STABILI on NYSE Euronext, the fourth foreign company to join our European markets this year, comments Ronald Kent, Group Executive Vice President and Head of International Listings at NYSE Euronext. ”Thanks to this listing, BENI STABILI will be able to pursue its strategic growth objectives with a broader investor base and at the same time benefit from the outstanding services available from NYSE Euronext."

Aldo Mazzocco, Chief Executive Officer at BENI STABILI, adds : «It’s a great honour for us to be listed also in Paris and we hope this new opportunity will attract more and more French investors in our company: “Des Biens Stables”».
