Today, the first stock trading session of İMKB could not be carried out due to a glitch encountered.
In relation to the “Closing Session” to be put into practice today, the stock trading system was tested until 00:30 a.m. today with the participation of all members, and the tests were accomplished successfully.
The glitch experienced in the first stock trading session today resulted from a system loop in the module that interacts with the trading engine and has no relation with the “Closing Session” to be introduced today.
The glitch, which is an example of the system failures arising from complex structure of the stock exchanges’ converged infrastructures, was overcome and the trading on the IMKB Stock Market resumed as of 14:00 p.m.
