The International Securities Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ISE), the world's largest equity options exchange, today reported equity options trading volume for March 2005. Average daily trading volume in equity options contracts increased 23.5% to 1.7 million contracts traded as compared to 1.4 million contracts traded in the same period in the prior year. Total equity options volume for the month increased to 36.9 million contracts traded as compared to 31.3 million contracts traded in the same year-ago period.
