Citadel Derivatives Group will serve as the Primary Market Maker for the ISE 50 and ISE 100 indexes. Both indexes will trade on March expiration cycles with exercise and position limits of 50,000 contracts.
The ISE 50 Index tracks the performance of the "Mega Cap" stocks listed in the United States. The index is a subset of the ISE 250 Index, which began trading last week, generally including its top 50 stocks.
The ISE 100 Index is a higher-volatility indicator that tracks the performance of ISE's top 100 most actively traded equity options classes. Similar to the ISE 50 and ISE 250 indexes, the ISE 100 Index is a capitalization-weighted index.
"We are resolute and steadfast in challenging the status quo in the securities industry. Just as ISE's innovations helped improve equity options trading, we are committed to doing the same for index options trading. The listing of the ISE 50 and 100 indexes, which join the ISE 250 Index as the exchange's latest broad-based indexes, are tangible proof of our dedication to bringing competition to index options trading," said Bruce D. Goldberg, ISE's Chief Marketing Officer.
Additional information about ISE's indexes, including exercise limits, methodology guides, component lists and weightings, performance metrics and historical data is available on ISE's website, www.iseoptions.com.
