ISE Gemini announced that it traded more than one million contracts for the first time (actual: 1,076,222 contracts) in a single day yesterday, and also established an equity options market share record for the exchange of 5.2%, excluding dividend trades.

ISE Gemini’s expansion has been continuously accelerating as the exchange surpassed 900,000 contracts in a trading day for the first time last month. Yesterday’s milestones follow ISE Gemini’s strongest month in September for average daily volume (679,604 contracts) and overall equity options market share (4.3 percent).
