The Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) has published updated Enterprise Securities Market (ESM) Rules for Companies. The revised rules:
- align the ESM Rules with the AIM Rules, maintaining the compatible dual admission regime between the ESM and the AIM market operated by the London Stock Exchange, and
- update requirements to reflect Irish legislative changes arising from the Companies Act 2014.
There are currently 27 companies listed on the ESM. Recent admissions to the ESM include:
- Petrol retailer Applegreen, which raised €70m from international investors when it joined the ESM in June,
- Malin Corporation plc, which raised €330million in March in one of the largest life science IPOs ever to take place in Europe.
In November 2015 the ESM will celebrate its 10 year anniversary as a market of the ISE. The ISE has two other markets for equity issuers, the Main Securities Market and the Atlantic Securities Market.
