Bankinter, the Spanish commercial and personal banking group quoted on the Madrid Stock Exchange, has listed Tier 1 debt securities on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) for the first time.
The Bankinter group issuance of perpetual non-cumulative contingent convertible tier 1 preferred securities raised €200m.
Bankinter, headquartered in Madrid, is the latest Spanish bank that has chosen the ISE to list a Tier 1 bond. It follows Tier 1 bond listings by other Spanish banks Banco Santander, Banco Popular and BBVA.
