The Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) has been named one of the best workplaces in Ireland in 2015 by the Great Place to Work (GPtW) Institute. The ISE received its 6th place award in the medium workplace category (organisations between 100 and 300 employees).
We also received a special award for our history to life project which brought to life interesting and inspiring stories about the role of the ISE, its members and employees during key times in Irish history such as the famine, the civil war and the two world wars. As part of this project we also published a mini-biography of Oonah Keogh, the world’s first female member of a stock exchange in the world, who became a member of the ISE in 1925.
Deirdre Somers, the ISE’s CEO, said “The Great Place to Work awards benchmark the ISE against its peers so we are delighted to be recognised as one of 2015’s best workplaces in Ireland. We currently have over 100 people on our team and we plan to increase our staff by 10% this year to facilitate the growth projected for our business. We havevacancies in our regulation, traded markets and market services teams.”
